Vietnam 08/09 Coffee Output Unchanged at 15 Million Bags

Hanoi, Aug 6 - Vietnam is forecast to produce 15 million bags, or 900,000 tonnes, of coffee from its upcoming harvest due to start in October, similar to the previous season, an industry official said on Wednesday.

"The yield would be similar to that of the 2007/2008 crop," Vietnam Coffee Association Chairman Luong Van Tu told Reuters.
