According to the reports, the company will be starting a recruitment campaign highlighting the benefits of working in the company.

In 2007, McDonalds launched a campaign for a more positive dictionary definition of the term "McJob", which had been defined as "an unstimulating, low-paid job with few prospects, esp. one created by the expansion of the service sector".

McDonalds has refurbished about half of its 1,200 branches and is also investing in its 200 "Drive Thru" restaurants.

Furthermore, the fast food chain aims to open another 10 new restaurants in the UK this year.
