C&C Announces Sale of Findlater Grants

Dublin, London, 15 September - C&C Group plc, a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded beverages in Ireland and the U.K., today announced that it has sold FindlaterGrants, part of the Group's distribution division, to DCC plc for a consideration of approximately Euro 9.6 million.

FindlaterGrants is one of Ireland’s leading wine distributors. Proceeds of the sale will be used for general corporate purposes.

Maurice Pratt, Chief Executive of C&C, commented: “The Board of C&C is pleased to announce this transaction with DCC and believes it is in the best interests of C&C’s shareholders the FindlaterGrants employees and the brands it distributes. “
