Frozen Bakery Firm Bridor to Invest 20 Mln Euro in French Plant

25 September 2008 - Bridor, a French manufacturer of frozen patisserie and baked bread, is investing 20 million euro to expand its Servon-sur-Vilaine plant (located near Rennes) and will hire an extra 60 staff, local sources said.

Bridor will add 4.000 m² to the plant and expects to increase its production by 30%, added the sources.

Bridor, which is a subsidiary of Le Duff Group (the owner of the Brioche Dorée, Pizza del Arte, Le Fournil de Pierre and La Madeleine franchises), is enjoying a 20% annual growth. The company sells its products to 720 restaurants and hotels spread across 40 countries, including Brioche Dorée and Pizza Del Arte outlets.

Bridor, with its workforce of 650, has an annual turnover of 740 million euro. Besides the Servon-sur-Vilaine plant, the company also has facilities in the UK, Canada, USA and Argentina.
