India: Temptation Foods to Spend 3 Bln Rupees on Expansion

Mumbai, Sept 26 - Food processing firm Temptation Foods Ltd plans to set up three new plants with a total investment of 3 billion rupees, Managing Director, Vineet Kumar, told television channel NDTV Profit on Friday.

The new plants in Gujarat, Uttaranchal and Konkan will each have an additional capacity of 20,000 tonnes, Kumar said.

Temptation expects sales of 6.5 to 7 billion rupees this fiscal, he added.

Shares of the company were up 5.65 percent at 272 rupees per share in a weak Mumbai market.
