3 October 2008 - Elgeka would like to notify the investing public that on the 30th of September, it signed a three year distribution agreement with the company "Kriton Artos s.a." for the exclusive trade and distribution of all Kriton Artos products in the Greek territory and specifically at all distribution channels (hyper market chains, rest of retailers, food wholesalers / foodservice).
Elgeka will undertake the sales, trade marketing, marketing, merchandising and logistics of all the products that are produced and traded by "Kriton Artos s.a.", and are the following: rusks, sesame oil cookies, barley rings, dakos (cretan rusks), oil cookies, cinnamon cookies, little dakos, cretan traditional sauce with rusks (jar).
Furthermore, our subsidiary company by 50,02%, Elgeka Ferfelis Romania s.a., signed on the 1st of October 2008, a three year agreement with the Bulgarian company "Aroma plc" for the distribution of its products in the Romanian territory. "aroma plc" activates in the sector of personal care products like toothpastes, soaps, shampoos, bath foams, body lotions, hand creams, and holds a leading position in the Bulgarian market.
Elgeka Ferfelis Romania s.a. constitutes an important part of the group in the Balkan area with fast-growing development over the last five years. it owns 12 branches strategically placed all over romania and occupies over 450 employees. Elgeka Ferfelis Bulgaria ltd, Elgeka Ferfelis srl (Moldavia). the above mentioned agreement will benefit the turnover of Elgeka Ferfelis Romania s.a. and consequently Elgeka group.
