Mumbai, Nov 3 - India's coffee exports rose 3.4 percent during the first ten months of 2008 on firm demand from European countries and a weak rupee, an official from the Coffee Board said on Monday.
Total Jan-Oct exports were 197,006 tonnes, compared with 190,619 tonnes a year ago, the official, who did not want to be identified, told Reuters.
India produces only 4 percent of the world's coffee, but exports 70-80 percent of its output.
