Melbourne, Nov 18 - Lion Nathan Ltd, Australia's second-largest brewer, said on Tuesday it had no new moves planned on its A$7.6 billion ($4.9 billion) proposal to take over soft drinks group Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd.
Coca-Cola Amatil rebuffed the offer on Monday.
"We think we've put a very compelling offer forward that needs serious consideration," Chief Executive Rob Murray told reporters at a results briefing.
"There's no immediate next steps as far as we're concerned." ($1=A$1.54)
