Ferrero and Elgeka Renew Greek Distribution Deal

27 November 2008 - Greek food trader Elgeka has announced that its distribution agreement with Italian confectionery firm Ferrero has been renewed.

Under the agreement, Elgeka has the exclusive right to distribute and resell Ferrero's "dry" and "chilled" products in the Greek market, said the company.

The brands that constitute the "dry" product line of Ferrero are: Rocher, Raffaelo, Prestige, Nutella, Tic Tac, Kinder, Happy Snack, Duplo, Tronky, etc. The brands that constitute the "chilled" product line are: Kinder milkslices, Kinder Pingui, Kinder Maxi King, Kinder Paradiso, Kinder Chocofresh.

The deal is valid until 31 August 2010.

"The renewal of the agreement between Elgeka and Ferrero is very important, because it will benefit to the turnover of Elgeka by 50% annually", the company said.
