Israeli Foodmaker Osem Q3 Net Profit up 7.5 pct

tel Aviv, Dec 1 - Israeli foodmaker Osem Investments , which is 53.8 percent owned by Swiss food giant Nestle , posted on Sunday a 7.5 percent rise in third-quarter net profit on higher sales.

Quarterly net profit increased to 63.95 million shekels ($16.3 million) or 0.58 shekels per share from 59.5 million shekels or 0.54 shekels per share a year earlier.

Sales rose 14.1 percent to 863.8 million shekels.
