6 January 2009 - French bakery firm Neuhauser is reportedly going to start production at its 31 million euro plant in Maubeuge at the end of the month.
The plant is expected to produce pre-baked frozen bread for retail outlets, wholesalers and importers in France and Europe. About 40 people currently work at the plant.
The facility was built next to the former Délices de la Tour frozen bread site that Neuhauser acquired in June 2007 from CSM for 7.7 million euro.
Neuhauser has an annual turnover of 260 million euro and a workforce of approximately 2,500.
