Russia’s Council of Dietary Supplement, Nutrient and Healthy Food Producers (CDSP) and the Brazilian Association of Foods for Special Dietary Uses Industry (ABIAD) both joined IADSA last month.

Founded in March 2008, CDSP brings together seven member companies engaged in the manufacture or marketing of food supplements. ABIAD is made up of 31 member companies, 40 percent of which are directly engaged in the food supplement business.

“We are delighted to welcome CDSP and ABIAD into our global network,” said Byron Johnson, IADSA Chairman. “One of the priorities of IADSA is to support existing associations and help create new associations across the globe. Together we will continue to work towards building an international platform for debate, and a sound legislative and political environment for the development of dietary supplement markets worldwide.”

IADSA is the leading international expert association regarding the globalisation of dietary supplement markets and increasing regulatory challenges. It brings together dietary supplement associations from 6 continents, represents over 20,000 companies.
