UK:Larabar Recalls All Peanut Butter Snack Bars

London, Jan 26 - The Food Standards Agency has issued an updated Food Alert for Information concerning the recall of some Larabar Peanut Butter Cookie flavour snack bars because of the possible presence of Salmonella Typhimurium. On a precautionary basis, the recall has been extended to all Larabar Peanut Butter Cookie flavour snack bars.

The original alert was issued on Wednesday 21 January . Product detailsThe products being recalled are:

* Lärabar Peanut Butter Cookie flavour snack bars
All sizes, batch codes and best before dates

The affected products have been withdrawn from sale and a product recall notice will be issued by the company in the national press today, Saturday 24 January. These notices explain why the product has been recalled. Anyone who has bought the product can return it to the store for a full refund.
