5 February 2009 - A drop in consumer demand for bottled water is the main reason why Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. will close a Dasani bottling facility located in Washington County, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A company spokespersons said that the 17 workers at the plant will be offered jobs at a nearby distribution center in Houston, Pennsylvania, or may take severance packages.
Production will be shifted to other plants in the region during March, added the spokesperson.
