Feb 6 - The European Commission has granted clearance under the EU Merger Regulation to the acquisition of sole control of Nardobel SAS of France by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (Otsuka) of Japan.
Otsuka manufactures and supplies pharmaceutical products, food (nutraceuticals, water) and industrial chemicals. Nardobel manufactures and supplies dietary food products and plant-based pharmaceuticals. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
