Natra Obtains Sales Amounting to EUR 455.9 Mln in 2008 and EBITDA Reaches EUR 39.4 Mln

  • Consolidated sales amounted to €455.9million, 19.7% more than in 2007. Consolidated EBITDA reached €39.4 million, 1.5% more than €38.8 million the previous year.
  • Regarding sales within the cocoa and chocolate business, they reached €303.1 million in 2008, 32.5% more than in 2007, while EBITDA grew by 36.4% up to €27.3 million.
  • Organic growth-excluding Natra allcrump, which joined the Group in October, 2007-implied a 19% increase in sales (with 12% volume growth). Regarding EBIT, it increased by 17.4% compared to 2007, up to €14.2million.
  • Profit before tax within the cocoa and chocolate business reached €6.3 million, increasing by 21.2%.
  • Natraceutical Group finished the year with sales growing by 5.3%- up to €161 million- and EBITDA amounting to €21.77 million, which implies 13.6% growth compared to 2007.
