The revised rice output was little changed from the 38.63 million tonnes estimated in December, but the new coffee output figure was 6.4 percent higher than the 996,300 tonnes estimated last year, the government's statistics office said in its quarterly report.

Vietnam's coffee crop year runs from October to September, but the statistics report is based on the calendar year.
