Lagos, March 27 - Unilever Nigeria Plc's 2008 profit soared 141 percent to 2.6 billion naira ($17.9 million), the firm's full-year results released by the Nigerian Stock Exchange showed on Friday.
Gross earnings at Unilever Nigeria, a manufacturer of food brands, personal care and household products, climbed nearly 10 percent to 37.4 billion naira from 9.96 billion in 2007.
