Milan, March 30 - Italian Parmalat will get 19 million euros ($25 million) from Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena under an agreement linked to the period before the dairy group's collapse in December 2003.

The agreement settles all transactions and claims between Parmalat and BMPS's unit Banca Antonveneta, Parmalat said in a statement on Monday.

Further settlement agreements were also reached between BMPS and the special administrative commissioner of companies belonging to the old Parmalat group still under special administration, the statement on Monday said. Those agreements will see BMPS pay the commissioner 4.5 million euros, it said.

Parmalat collapsed under 14 billion euros of debt in 2003 after uncovering a 4 billion euro hole in its accounts. It was restructured and relisted on the Milan bourse in 2005.

BMPS took over Banca Antonveneta at the end of last year.
