Total Produce Buys 50% Stake in Dutch Fruit Business ASF Holland B.V

21 April 2009 - Total Produce plc is pleased to announce that it has acquired 50% of ASF Holland B.V based in Venlo, Netherlands, from Frankort & Koning B.V.

The ASF Holland B.V business will have sales in 2009 of c. €25m. ASF Holland B.V is involved exclusively in the soft fruit business.

This acquisition will provide the opportunity to further expand the ASF Holland B.V business and will complement Total Produce's existing business in this specialist area which is principally conducted through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Redbridge Holdings Limited.
