Ljubljana, May 7 - Slovenia's largest food retailer Mercator said on Thursday group net profit in the first quarter fell 30.8 percent to 6.4 million euros ($8.5 million).
The company said in a statement the profit fell mainly due to higher cost of financing. It said group net sales in the first quarter rose 1.1 percent to 618 million euros.
