13 May 2009 - According to data obtained from China's National Bureau of Statistics, the nation's output of dairy products in April 2009 amounted to 1.54 million tons, up 8% compared with April 2008.
The Statistics Bureau also estimates that beer production that month amounted to 3.58 kilolitres, up 8.2% year-on-year.
