Vietnam: Coffee Giant Trung Nguyen Corporation Starts Work on USD 40 Mln Plant

11 June 2009 - Vietnamese coffee giant Trung Nguyen Corporation has started construction works on a new instant coffee plant in Dak Lak Province, and claims that the new facility will be the largest coffee plant in Vietnam.

The USD 40 million plant is expected to produce coffee for both local and export markets.

The new plant will have an annual capacity of 60,000 tons and will use German, Danish and Italian equipment to roast and process the coffee.
