15 June 2009 - According to data obtained from China's National Bureau of Statistics, the nation's output of dairy products in May 2009 amounted to 1.64 million tons, up 8% compared with May 2008.
The Statistics Bureau also estimates that beer production that month amounted to 4.63 kilolitres, up 21.7% year-on-year.
