China: Zhejiang NHU Plans Investments in Additive and Aroma Activities

24 June 2009 - Zhejiang NHU Limited has announced that it is hoping to raise approximately RMB 1.15 billion (about USD 168.33 million) through a private share issuance to finance the construction and expansion of its production facilities.

NHU produces health supplements, pharmaceutical intermediates, flavours and fragrances, as well as food additives.

The company has announced investments in the following activities:

- Project of 6,000 MT Isovaleral (RMB 100 million)
- Project of 3,000 MT Methyldihydrojasmonate (RMB 174 million)
- Project of 900 MT Geraniol (RMB 107 million)
- Project of 600 MT Raspberry Ketone (RMB 57 million)
- Project of 6,000 MT Glucosamine Food Additives (RMB 193 million)
