USDA Awards Export Subsidies to Butter, Milk Fat

Washington, June 25 - The U.S. Agriculture Department said on Thursday it accepted bids from exporters under its dairy export subsidy program for butter and anhydrous milk fat.

The awards included:

- bonus of $1,050.00 per tonne for shipments of anhydrous milk fat to Caribbean, Central and South America. The award totaled 54 metric tonnes;

- bonus of $850.00 per tonne for shipments of butter to Africa and Middle East. The awards totaled 1,249 metric tonnes;

- bonus of $850.00 per tonne for a shipment of butter to Asia and Eurasia. The award totaled 50 metric tonnes of butter.
