26 June 2009 - Chinese Hubei Xingfa Chemicals Group Co., Ltd. has announced it will build a new phosphoric acid facility to meet the growing demand for its product in the electronic and food industries.
The new plant, to be located in Yichang Jingxi Chermical Industry Garden, will have an annual phosphoric acid production capacity for food at 20,000 tons.
Xingfa said the project is expected to cost a total RMB 156.36 million (USD 23 million).
It is expected that production will start at the plant very soon after construction is completed in an estimated 9 months time, said Xingfa.
Founded in 1994, Xingfa is based in Xingshan County, Yichang City, Hubei Province, and is a leading phosphates producer. The company says it has partnerships with leading global players, such as P&G, Unilever, Henkel etc.
