2 July 2009 - Leading French organic bread maker Biofournil has acquired Le Petit Mouzillon a traditional biscuit producer based in Mouzillon, near Nantes, which had ceased operations in 2007.
In Q4, Biofournil will transfer its viennoiserie and brioche production to Mouzillon and the production of Petit Mouzillon biscuits will resume in Q1 2010, said the company.
Biofournil is planning to hire 11 extra workers at the site.
Based in Puiset-Doré, also near Nantes, Biofournil's turnover in 2008 amounted to 8.2 million euro. The company has a workforce of 71.
