USDA Awards Subsidies to Two Dry Milk Exporters

Washington, July 23 - The U.S. Agriculture Department said on Thursday it awarded subsidies averaging $173.25 per tonne to exporters for sales of 308 tonnes of nonfat dry milk to buyers in Africa and the Middle East.

Delivery was due Aug. 1-Oct. 31, said USDA. Bonuses went to James Farrell & Co for 200 tonnes and P.S. International Ltd for 108 tonnes.

An additional 46,578 tonnes of sales around the world are eligible for subsidy, said USDA.
