LVMH Buys 50% of Cheval Blanc, 50% of La Tour du Pin

13 August 2009 - LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world's leading luxury products group, announces the acquisition of 50% of the private company Cheval Blanc which produces and commercializes Chateau Cheval Blanc, a premier Grand Cru classé of Saint-Emilion.

LVMH also acquired 50% of the company La Tour du Pin, owner of the Chateau Quinault l'Enclos estate, a Grand Cru classé of Saint-Emilion.

These two transactions, carried out with a Groupe Arnault subsidiary, will complement LVMH portfolio of super-premium wines.
