Mexico Aug Coffee Exports Fall 3.7 pct from Year Ago

Mexico City, Sept 14 - Coffee exports from Mexico fell 3.7 percent in August to 197,776 60-kg bags, according to statistics released on Monday from the agriculture ministry and the national coffee organization.

Cumulative exports for the 2008/09 coffee year, which began in October, were 2.577 million bags, up 8.7 percent from the same period in the previous cycle.
