Thai Beverage Sees 2009 Results No Lower Than 2008

Bangkok, Sept 30 - Thai Beverage PCL , the country's largest brewer and distiller, said on Wednesday it aimed for 2009 revenue and net profit to be not lower than last year.

The company, number two in terms of market share, planned to boost its sales to be market leader over the next two years, director and senior Vice President Ueychai Tantha-Obhas told reporters.

In 2008, the company made a net profit of 10.6 billion baht ($316 million) on revenue of 105 billion baht. ($1=33.52 Baht)
