At the same time Mona and the German aroma and flavour producer Wild have concluded a strategic cooperation agreement in the area of research and development of soy products.

Thanks to the acquisition, Mona's production capacity is expected to double to 50 million litres annually.

Further to the purchase, sales are forecasted to rise from about 25 million euro this year to 40 million euro in 2010.

Last year, as part of its strategy to solely focus on soy foods, Mona sold its three dairy operating units to Nöm AG, Austria’s second largest milk producer.
