Inovatech Argentina S.A. is located in Villa Nueva in the province Cordoba in Argentina. The company has some 65 employees and an annual turnover of EUR 12 million. Its core activities are the production of a range of dairy based ingredients, supplied to the food and nutrition industry worldwide. Major application areas are dairy, ice cream, and bakery-applications, as well as sports and nutrition products, and infant formulas. The plant is GMP, Halal and Kosher Certified.

"One of our strategic pillars is international growth with specific dairy ingredients worldwide. The acquisition of Inovatech Argentina S.A. provides us with a stepping stone for further growth with dairy based ingredients", explains Justinus Sanders, CEO of Campina BV. "An important condition for implementing this strategy successfully is the availability of the right know-how and production capacity for the manufacture of ingredients. With the acquisition, we gain access to production capacity in a country that is well known for its efficient dairy industry infrastructure and therefore is considered an attractive source for dairy proteins worldwide. This makes the acquisition an extremely useful growth injection for our Industrial Products group."

"This acquisition will quite rightly boost DMV International's market position for ingredients in the (South-) American market", says Alexander Wessels, Managing Director of Campina's Industrial Products group. "That will give us an opportunity to develop and become stronger in a market that is becoming increasingly important for us. Following the acquisition, DMV International plans to further grow the business with a strong focus on value added ingredients for the food & nutrition industries worldwide. The Inovatech plant will complement the production facilities we have worldwide."
