The versatile hydrocolloids will complement S. Black’s existing emulsifiers and stabilisers such as non-GM lecithin and sucrose esters. The company can now offer customers complete application-based solutions from its Hertford development kitchen and dedicated technical sales team, backed by extensive expertise from CP Kelco in this specialist field.

When selecting a material many factors must be taken into consideration including the desired flow behaviour or texture, required shelf-life, production equipment available, product packaging, nature of other ingredients and compliance with regulatory requirements.  All can influence the characteristics of thickening, stabilisation, emulsification, suspension and gelation.

S. Black are now able to offer the broadest range of commercially available hydrocolloids in the industry from CP Kelco, to provide specific help for all customer stabilisation and texture requirements.
