18 July 2006 - Chipita International has announced to the Athens Stock Exchange that its subsidiary in Egypt, Edita SAE, has acquired 100% of the share capital of Digma SAE for 6.18 million euro.
Edita is the leading manufacturer of bakery products in Egypt.
Digma is the sole distributor in Egypt of all Edita's products. Thanks to the acquisition Edita will obtain the control of the company’s selling and distribution structure.
