August 03 2006 – BASF has reported second quarter 2006 revenues of EUR 12.3 billion, a 16.5% year on year increase.
First half 2006 revenues grew 20% to EUR 24.8 billion, the company has said in its interim report.
The company says that sales of vitamin C ‘continued to decline’. BASF says it is continuing with cost reduction measures to combat pressure on margins for the two products.
