31 August 2006 - Ukrainian confectionery product maker Corp Roshen has announced the purchase of a Klaipedos Konditerija pastry factory from Lithuanian company Invalda.
The acquisition will help Corp Roshen gain a foothold in the Baltic countries.
The plant, which is one of the eldest in Lithuania, produces caramels and other sweets. The products are exported to Latvia, Estonia as well as Russia, Germany, Poland, and, since last year, Denmark.
