4 October 2006 – According to the Vietnamese press, dairy firm Dutch Lady Vietnam has received a license to begin a USD 40 million plan to expand production in the northern province of Ha Nam.
Initially, the company plans to invest USD 20 million in a new milk factory in Phu Ly, add the press reports.
Dutch Lady Vietnam is a joint venture between Friesland Foods of the Netherlands, and Protrade of southern Binh Duong province.
The firm produces dairy and dairy related products under the brand names Dutch Lady, Friso, Yo-Most and Fristi.
