12 October 2006 - According to the Israeli press, Shemen Industries will acquire 25% of Gilad Dairy for NIS3.5m (US$900,000), plus a NIS2.5m owner's loan.
The acquisition will enable the firm to return to the soy products market, after having ended its partnership with Strauss-Elite Ltd. in this domain earlier on this year.
Shemen Industries will give Gilad Dairy unused soy processing equipment from the company’s discontinued soy division, says the press.
