The company recently announced that with the exception of Shanghai and Beijing for direct sales, franchising will be offered all over China. The goal is to open at least 500 franchised stores within three years.

The company’s head of business in China told us how the originally plain bread has been endowed with creativity and the capability to “talk”, and has in turn won over consumers and become the Starbucks of bread.

As the first and only publicly listed bakery chain, BreakTalk has never stopped expanding overseas. Its 100th store will be opened in Shanghai soon.
