Bangkok, Nov 15 - Singapore-listed Thai Beverage PCL, which makes Chang Beer and Mekhong whisky, said on Wednesday its third-quarter net profit rose 5.5 percent.
The company said in a statement it earned a net profit of 2.29 billion baht ($62.93 million) in the three months to September 30, up from 2.17 billion baht a year earlier.
Its quarterly revenues rose 1 percent from a year earlier to 20.75 billion baht, with sales of beer and drinking water accounting for 48 percent and whisky sales for most of the rest, it said.
Nine-month revenues rose slightly to 67.38 billion baht while net profit for the period fell slightly to 7.39 billion baht due to higher costs of molasses, used in liquor production, and energy, it said.
The Singapore-listed firm launched an $875 million initial public offering in May.
At 0853 GMT, Thai Beverage shares were unchaged at S$0.28, while the overall Singapore stock market was 0.49 percent higher.
