20 November 2006 - The Board of Directors of Luzhou Bio-chem Technology Limited (“the Company”) wishes to announce that it has completed enhancements to the production capabilities at its Shaanxi and Henan plants, enabling the production of high fructose corn syrup and high maltose syrup.
The Company has also entered into agreements to supply high fructose corn syrup (“HFCS”) to leading food and beverage manufacturers in the PRC. The Company plans to supply HFCS through its plants in Liaoning, Shandong, Henan and Shaanxi.
The agreements are not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets or earnings per share of the Company for the current financial year.
