Greek Regulator OKs Delta Ice Creams Squeeze-out

Athens, Nov 23 - Greece's securities regulator approved the acquisition of Delta Ice Cream shares Nestle Hellas does not already hold through a squeeze-out procedure, the Greek ice cream maker said in a stock market filing on Thursday.

Delta said the regulator also approved its delisting from the Athens Stock Exchange on Dec 13.

Nestle Hellas, the Greek arm of Swiss food group Nestle , had bought a 96.53 percent stake in Delta Ice Cream for 111 million euros in May. It then increased the stake to 98.5 percent for 6.63 euros per share through a public offer to fully acquire the Greek firm.

Delta Ice Cream has activities in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

Its shares ended flat at 6.42 euros on Thursday.
