“The acquisition offers significant benefits to our customers throughout the food, beverage, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries,” comments Roderick W. Sowders, President and CEO of Synergy Flavors. “Vanlab’s extensive range of vanilla products, including organic vanilla, is backed by nearly 100 years experience in the market. Vanlab also offers an excellent range of flavors that both complement and extend our overall offer to the market.”

“We’ve been impressed by the similarities of culture between Vanlab and Synergy” comments David Patton, the former owner of Vanlab. “Vanlab is an excellent company that has grown substantially in recent years. I believe that Synergy will be excellent stewards of the Vanlab tradition going forward”.

The acquisition of Vanlab will significantly increase Synergy’s business in the U.S. Synergy is already well known as a supplier of innovative flavors for bakery, confectionary, dairy, beverage and nutraceutical products. With the acquisition of Vanlab, the company will be gaining new technologies and widening its customer base. Although the company will actively seek improvements in efficiencies to better service the customers, business operations at the two locations will remain intact for the foreseeable future.
