The dairy company’s Managing director Hans Laarakker told the Malaysian press that despite "fierce" competition in the local dairy market, it would develop more niche products and reinforce its brand name and market position.

He added that in the past 3 to 4 years, Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd has shown tremendous growth in sales. “We grow almost 12% every year”, said Laarakker.

Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd’s main activities are the manufacturing of sweetened condensed milk, milk powder, dairy products and fruit juice drinks for distribution in the home market and for export.
