The deal will give Arca a majority stake in Bokados and the right to increase that stake to 100% in the future. Terms weren't disclosed for the acquisition, which was announced as a preliminary agreement early this month.

Monterrey-based Arca said the acquisition is part of its strategy of entering new business lines where buying patterns and habits are similar to those of the soft-drink market.
