Chicago, March 8 - Minute Maid, the orange juice unit of Coca-Cola Co., said on Thursday it was launching a line of juices enhanced with vitamins and a line of juice blends called Minute Maid Breakfast Blends.
The enhanced juice line includes an orange juice with an added multivitamin, a juice with added Glucosamine HCl to help support healthy joints, and updated packaging for its Heart Wise juice, which the company says can help lower cholesterol.
Minute Maid, which raised prices of its juices four times last year to offset rising costs due to a smaller-than-expected Florida orange crop, said its Breakfast Blends would be more affordable and will contain 32 percent to 44 percent real juice. The blends will be available in citrus, tropical and berry flavors, the company said.
