South Korea: Lotte Shopping Unit to Buy $85 Mln Store Chain

Seoul, Mar. 16 - Lotte Shopping Co. said on Friday its supermarket unit would invest 80 billion won ($84.62 million) to buy 14 mid-size stores of regional retailer Big Mart, based in South Korea's southwestern Cholla province.

The Big Mart stores generated 120 billion won in revenue last year, Lotte Shopping said in a filing with the Korea Exchange.
