Laurus: Sale of 15 Store Locations to Jumbo

Amersfoort, 2 April 2007 - As already announced, Laurus N.V. is selling 50 Super de Boer stores which are loss making or are inconsistent with the Super de Boer format in the course of 2007.

Laurus has reached agreement on the sale of 15 store locations to Jumbo Supermarkten B.V. (Jumbo) for a total of approximately € 16 million, excluding inventory. All the personnel in the stores will transfer to Jumbo by law. The transfer of locations will gradually take place in the next two quarters. Until the transfer date, the stores will be operated by Laurus for its account.

The transfer of the stores to Jumbo is subject to approval of the Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa).

Laurus has informed the works council and the trade unions with respect to this transaction.

The sale of the remaining locations is ongoing.
